• Socket Wrench Set: 10mm socket, T25 Torx
• Philips and small flathead screwdriver (for line clamps)
• Pliers for squeezing fuel lines
• Drain pan to catch leaking fuel during disconnection

🔧 Steps – Audi A6 C6 Fuel Filter Replacement:

1. Locate the fuel filter – it's mounted before the rear right wheel, under the car on the passenger side.
2. Remove the protective cover using a 10mm socket, T25, and a trim removal tool.
3. Disconnect the fuel lines by squeezing both sides with pliers (fuel will start flowing – have the drain pan ready).
4. Remove the old filter by loosening the retaining strap using the T25 Torx.
5. Install the new Bosch fuel filter – make sure the flow direction matches. Reattach fuel lines securely.
6. Prime the fuel system – turn the key to ignition (without starting the engine) a few times to activate the fuel pump. Check for leaks.
