Parking Aid with Optical Illustration Audi A6 Installation
Enhance your Audi A6 C6 with an OEM Parking Distance Control (PDC) system featuring optical illustration. This guide covers complete sensor integration, wiring, and coding for a fully functional visual parking aid.
🛠️ Required Components:
Parking module: 4F0 910 283 C ( 8 sensors, with graphics support )
or 4F0 910 283 E, G, H, P ( 8 sensors, with graphics support, with camera support )
🔧 Features & Integration:
The optical parking view displays your Audi from above with live PDC sensor feedback. The visual layout shows the car in horizontal view and overlays distance zones as sensors detect objects.
🧰 Wiring & Setup Tips:
- Power for the front PDC console button:
- Use the blue wire from the ESP button for 12V ignition power.
- CAN bus integration - route the CAN wires to the blue connector of the Convenience System Control Unit located on the right side of the trunk.
- To get +12V ACC power in the trunk, tap into pin 21 of the blue connector.
Wire routing tip:
- Use a stiff wire and duct tape to guide cables through the cabin from the trunk, starting under the rear seats.

- Open Module [76] - Parking Aid
- Short Coding:
- 0?xxxxx: Optical Illustration
0 = without Optical Illustration in Display
2 = with Optical Illustration in Display - Save changes, then enable the graphic display in MMI under the Parking menu (click 'yes' when prompted for default work group coding from VCDS).
This is a cost-effective factory-style parking upgrade that improves safety and functionality. Works great on any Audi A6 C6.
